When it's time to hit the field, there's no stopping Ava Monaco (’28). ⚽️

After playing soccer for four years at Hunter College High School, Monaco arrived at Baruch for her freshman year, where she hoped to continue her soccer journey. But Baruch didn't have a women's soccer team, so Monaco did the next best thing: She convinced the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) to let her try out for the men's soccer team. After a week of tryouts, Monaco finally earned her spot on the team. 🏆

"Soccer was my main passion in high school, and I didn’t want to give up on it because of some rule,” Monaco said. 💬
