Classes are back in session today for the start of our 2022-2023 school year! We are thrilled to have our students back in our studios and are looking forward to another great year ahead.

2022 AUGUST SUMMER INTENSIVE: We would like to give a special shout out to all of our incredible summer students for a wonderful three weeks in our studios. 🎉

Tonight, the program concludes with two performances in our home theater, demonstrating new choreography our dancers have learned over the course of the program.

We are just three weeks away from the start of our August Summer Intensive, beginning on the 15th!

Featuring teachers from MYB year-round faculty, as well as guests from New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theater and many more companies throughout the country, students are able to hone their technique through daily classes including: pointe, variations, men's classes, character, pilates, contemporary, jazz and modern.

We are eagerly looking forward to having our summer students back in our studios training with us for the last three weeks of August. See you soon! 🎉

Today, MYB is observing Juneteenth as a celebration of freedom. We continue to stand by our mission of creating more opportunities in the dance world and ensuring our art form becomes more equitable and accessible, while acknowledging that we still have much more work to do.

We are excited to announce that tickets are now on sale for our annual end of year performances, running from June 2 through June 5.

This year we will be featuring an excerpt from George Balanchines Western Symphony staged by Balanchine Repetitor and Head of Faculty Deborah Wingert; Raymonda Variations, staged by our Head of Classical Repetoire, Marina Stavitskaya; and new works from Resident Choreographer Brian Reeder, Head of Primary Levels Natalia Boesch, and Artistic Faculty Earl Mosley, Shay Bland, Marcel Wilson, Winston Brown, and George Sanders.

DANCE AGAINST CANCER Audition Announcement | Learn Susan Stroman’s choreography from the movie, CENTER STAGE taught by !! If cast, you will take the stage with ’s & other special guests for this years at on May 9! All proceeds from DAC benefit the ’s lifesaving work.

✔️Audition Details: Auditioning experienced pre-professional and professional dancers ages 12-21 All genders and gender non-confirming artists encouraged to audition!

The deadline to register for our 2022 Summer Intensive Audition is tomorrow, April 2 at 7 PM. Auditions will take place this Sunday, April 3. Those registered will receive an email this evening with all necessary details.
