REPORT: LeBron James has been linked to leaving the NBA for a different league in the future, according to Brian Windhorst of ESPN.

“I keep hearing people like, this might be the last year, this might be the last year. Look, he’s been linked to potentially playing in other leagues. I don’t know, maybe. But if he stays healthy, I do not see LeBron James slowing down.”

This is the biggest scandal in sports today and we're not talking about it enough.

Here's everything you need to know:

🔸Kawhi Leonard reportedly signed a four-year, $28M No-Show deal with a defunct company.
🔸That company was financially supported by Clippers' Steve Ballmer and minority owner Dennis Wong.
🔸Leonard also received an additional $20M in company stock.
🔸Ballmer claimed he was a victim of fraud by the company.

Shortly after, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver launched an investigation but stated there won't be major consequences for circumstantial evidence. Then, on the same day, journalist Pablo Torre found something.

He discovered a $2M investment in the company from Dennis Wong shortly before Leonard received a late payment worth $1.75M, potentially giving Silver the 'hard' evidence he was looking for.

Silver's commissioner career started with a major Clippers controversy. And now, he's facing another.

Steve Ballmer is far and away the richest owner in the NBA. He's actually the richest owner in all of American sports. He's worth approximately $150B. For reference, if you combined the net worth of the 29 other NBA owners, it would come to approximately $250B.

Why does that matter?

The NBA is all about parity, fairness and salary cap restrictions. If the richest owners can play by their own rules and only receive a "slap on the wrist", then the NBA will lose all credibility.

So what does Commissioner Silver need to do? According to another journalist...

“I've spoken to multiple team strategists who told me, with chests puffed, that if the Clippers aren't docked multiple first-round picks — if Leonard's contract isn't voided while his salary obligations remain on the Clippers books — they’ll feel emboldened to use shell companies themselves." - Marc Stein

It makes you think: how often does this happen already? And how much worse can it get?

🚨BREAKING: The ongoing investigation involving the Clippers, Steve Ballmer, and Kawhi Leonard could change the entire landscape of the NBA! 🤯

If the Clippers are found guilty, the events of 2019 may be overturned. This would mean that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander would return to the Clippers, Paul George would go back to Oklahoma City, and Kawhi Leonard would forfeit the remaining years on his contract.
