Building a Culture of Strength, Health, and Ownership

Your fitness/wellness goals are my goals. Let's work on defining and achieving them together.

You’ve more than likely seen posts that tell you that you HAVE to be hitting *arbitrary metric here* and if you’re not, you’re worthless and are a shame to your family and bloodline.

Im not saying that…

But….

If one of your goals/needs is “to get stronger”, I feel that it helps to have some reference points.

Someone who’s a powerlifter or a Deadlift Enthusiast™️ might see these numbers and scoff.

This isn’t for you.

These numbers are for those who are looking at Strength as one of a handful of qualities that they want/need to address.

If you’re hitting these numbers (or repping 75-85%), then strength isn’t what’s holding you back from your goals.

There may be other qualities that need to be addressed (Power, Capacity, Body Composition, etc)

We’ll get to that.

Til then, tell me how you feel? Are you hitting these numbers? Do you even GAF?

Stepping into this “online training” world has shown me a bit.

You live in a world where you can access centuries worth of information with minimal effort.

You live in a world where you can summon thousands of calories without getting off of your feet.

Access to information is at an all time high, but with all of that information comes a tornado of noise.

You don’t need the “perfect” routine. You just need to know how to apply the appropriate knowledge.

And a coach who’s willing to get down in the weeds with you.

Call me Tony Conner on these internet streets.

Come with me if you want to live (better)

Storytime, Vol. 1

AKA The Time I Almost Quit

Me and took this picture almost three years ago. At 4AM, during one of many all-night study sessions for us

She was fully immersed in being a full-time nursing student while also working

I was plotting and scheming my way out of the fitness industry by studying cybersecurity

This was the first time in a long time where fitness, training, and my health took a backset. A decline, even.

I made the choice to switch careers because, in addition to a genuine interest in cybersecurity , I felt like I needed to make a change for our future selves.

What severed Tony in His Twenties would not cut it for the goals Tony in His Thirties wanted.

Long story short, I finished the program, almost went full send on the scheme, but relented.

I relented because I truly felt like I was meant to be of service to people via fitness and coaching. That I was meant to help you tell your story through strength.

That year and a half of scheming actually ended up being the foundation for this next evolution in my coaching journey.

I knew that there were others like me. Others who were willing to make a brave change for their future selves, but didn’t want it to be at the expense of their body.

So I got to plotting and scheming again.

If this story resonated with you, just know that you’re not alone. It’s okay for you to go all in on a career and family goal, but also know you can’t be your best without taking care of yourself.

I’m here to help you with that part. Reach out and let’s plot and scheme on your fitness goals together!

The last 6-7 years, I’ve had the pleasure of existing in all four of these worlds.

There’s often a lot of overlap with these titles. I can guarantee that if you’re reading this, you fit into at least two of these roles, and are looking to add a third.

Regardless, you all share one commonality: Life is hard, you’re too stubborn to give up and settle, and you know you need to take care of your body to keep moving the needle.

And you’re sitting somewhere, reading this gem of a post, shoulders slouched and hips tighter than that deadline hanging over your head.

If you want to keep pushing, keep excelling, but don’t know how to fit efficient training and nutrition strategies into your current life, hit me up!

You’re my type of person. The world/your people need you at your best. Let’s get you and keep you there.
