6 week Challenge Update
In some ways, I’m pretty mortified posting this before pic, but this is where I was just 6 weeks ago! Baby boy was 2 months old.
6 weeks ago, I felt such a disconnect with my body. On one of my runs I fell so hard on the concrete that I ended up seeing the inside of my knuckles and hand, and scraped up my whole leg. It was a rough start, but I didn’t quit... It wasn’t just physically not looking and feeling myself, it was also mentally. I didn’t want to workout, I didn’t feel like putting on workout clothes, and when I did workout I was less motivated and more discouraged. But then, I just kept going... I committed to 6 weeks, and I wanted to see if I would feel different by the end. Well, here I am, and I sure do! I now look forward to my workouts, I’m making a little progress with my runs, and exercise has me feeling more positive and energized. Of course with a new baby, I’m not able to get to the gym or on a run whenever I want, but I’ve stayed consistent, even if it’s a short 20 minutes. I’ve only lost about 5lbs, but because I see the difference, the scale doesn’t matter as much. I haven’t gone extreme with my workouts yet (sleep deprivation does take a toll 😕) but I’m going to get there! 😃 I’m not done yet, I’m just getting started! 💪🏽

There aren’t many friends who would consider hiking as part of their plans on New Years Eve. 😅 Thank you for joining ladies! That was a great way to end the year. 🥾
