We mourn the horrific and senseless loss of Alex "Boo" Taylor Franco, a 21-year-old transgender man kidnapped and found dead in the desert in Utah.

This comes just weeks after the death of Nex Benedict, who was also faced attacks, bullying and harm ahead of their untimely death.

Three teenagers have been arrested and charged in connection with Alex's death and this tragedy, like others cannot be mistaken for isolated. The anti-LGBTQ rhetoric and climate facing our communities enables people toward violence.
