Today we celebrate 156 years since Kappa Alpha Theta was founded as the First Greek Letter Fraternity for Women. Theta NYC Alumnae Chapter is proud to honor the spirit of our founders, Bettie Locke Hamilton, Alice Allen Brant, Bettie Tipton Lindsay, and Hannah Fitch Shaw, by fostering an inclusive and empowering community of kind and impressive women in New York City. As an exec team, we are thankful for all of you who come to our events, engage with our online presence, and co-create our community. We can’t wait to celebrate at our Founder’s Day Tea which has been rescheduled to March 1st. Remember to buy tickets for our 50/50 Friendship Fund Raffle, to benefit the Friendship Fund, and with a cash prize to be drawn on March 1 !
