Formed in 1911 by Norwegian immigrants, Sporting Club Gjøa has been a leader in non-profit local sport for over 100 years. We are Brooklyn's top Youth Soccer Club, with programs for girls and boys of all ages. We welcome inquiries from families looking for a positive soccer training and/or travel soccer experience for their child.

Playing It Back: Snowy Edition❄️
U16 Carew had the opportunity to volunteer with yesterday. They assisted them with shoveling snow out of the Coffey Park playground areas after the recent snow storm!

Coach Dennis has been named to Soccer’s 2026 Promising Young Coaches list, recognizing 30 coaches under 30 who are shaping the future of youth soccer.
Dennis has made a real impact at SC Gjøa. His ability to connect with players, set high standards, and create a positive environment helps our players grow both on and off the field.

We didn’t want to leave these goals in 2025!
U11 Solbakken put on a clinic this fall. The well-knit team capitalized on set pieces, worked out of the back and displayed lots of teamwork all fall long!
