In 2010 what started as mutual respect for one another as teachers, became a formidable partnership when circumstance brought them to work at the same studio. Both senior teachers, and passionate about yoga, Corinne and Olivia often found themselves in interesting and multi-dimensional conversations. Olivia, the consummate yogi, was immersed in a rigorous physical and spiritual training in the tea
chings of yoga asana and philosophy. Corinne, determined to prove the benefits of yoga, was enrolled in school on her way to a degree in physical therapy. Both were passionate about learning and sought the answer to the question "WHY?"
Why does yoga work physically and how does that affect the mind? They would stay up late talking about postures, spirituality, science, and boys. Their vastly different studies and philosophies, in addition to their willingness to learn from one another, exposed then both to new ideas on yoga and life. They realized that together they had something unique to share- a 360 degree perspective of health and happiness. Corinne and Olivia's partnership began with a one month "Change Your Life!" workshop. No small promise to make, especially for two novices, but it was a great success in more ways than one. These two women realized from this experience that they loved together, shared the same work ethic and core beliefs, and believed life should be fun. They set about developing curriculum and presenting workshops and retreats in New York and Costa Rica. Because Corinne and Olivia continue to evolve, as individuals and as a team, no two workshops are ever the same. Their teachings take you on a journey through anatomy, spirituality, physics and tradition. At the core of everything they do, however, is the belief that everyone can and should be happy. Not the kind of transient happiness brought on by a situation, but fundamental happiness that sustains us through all of life's experiences. They do not intend to tell you how to live- what they wish to share are the tools to help you unlock your passion, your truth and your happiness.
