FULL TIME | BSCA Independence Cup 2026 🇧🇩⚽️

On a rainy and gloomy day, Sonar Bangla FC proudly stepped into the BSCA Independence Cup 2026 with two teams, and what a tournament it turned out to be.

Through the rain, the battles, and the pressure, our boys showed what this badge stands for — unity, fight, and pride.

🔴 Red Team
Opened against the reigning champions Garden States FC, falling 4–0.
Then battled hard against I20 FC, narrowly losing 2–1.

🔵 Blue Team Tournament Run
Started strong with a 1–1 draw vs AYSAB, with Alom opening the scoring ⚽

Then came a statement performance:
Sonar Bangla FC 5–0 Cumilla Kings

Quarter Final
Sonar Bangla FC 2–0 Ozone Park Fighters

Semi Final
A hard-fought battle against the eventual champions Garden States FC, ending in a 2–1 defeat, with Anik finding the net ⚽

Reaching the semi-finals in these conditions is something this club can be proud of.
