This is a good reminder of the start of my self-publishing journey.
Nearly ten years later, wrestling to complete my second book, I do think that it would be nice to find a supportive publisher who understands how to market a book that doesn't quite fit in one of their pigeon holes, but given my experience over these past years, I know the most important thing I can do is get these stories right.
