✨What does The Bar Method mean to you?✨
The Bar Method means so much to me. It’s the first thing I do every morning to start my day off right. It has made working out something I enjoy and look forward to versus something I dread. It challenges me every day and keeps me on my toes (literally).
✨When did you start your fitness journey?✨
I’ve always been active and played sports growing up, but I didn’t discover the Bar Method until 2012. I took a break for many years to try other workouts, but ultimately came back in 2023. Nothing compares, and now I’ll never leave!
✨What were some of your goals when you started?✨
Post-Covid, I was eager to get back into the studio and out of my apartment. I wanted a workout that motivated and energized me.
✨What are your goals now?✨
To be strong and toned for my upcoming wedding (and beyond).
✨How has The Bar Method improved you physically and/or mentally?✨
I am so much stronger physically and mentally. My fiance is equally shocked and impressed at the amount of pushups I do daily. Mentally, I am a much more confident version of myself.
✨What were/are your biggest struggles?✨
Seat work. Never gets easier.
✨How do you feel when you’re at the studio?✨
Challenged and at home.
✨What would you tell someone who is nervous to try The Bar Method?✨
Do it. BMN is filled with such friendly staff and amazing instructors who are knowledgeable and really care. You will get the most personalized experience in a group fitness setting. You’ll never get bored because there’s always a way to challenge yourself more or try a new class format.
