That dress aged like w**e tbh

Remember that pink and black dress from Mean Girls that haunted every middle school party? It had a very specific early 2000s energy that made it instantly iconic and also instantly regrettable. Seeing those two shots side by side is like watching fashion make the worst possible face at itself.

There is something about the color block, the shine, and the thin straps that screams a very particular year. Paired with the tiny choker and the red party cup, the whole look reads equal parts movie costume and snapshot from a basement sleepover. It is a reminder that trends are sometimes best in small doses and definitely best left to nostalgic memes.

Also fun to notice, the outfit manages to be both bold and awkward at once. It does not quite commit to glam or casual, which leaves it floating in a fashion no mans land where nothing quite fits. But that is also why we keep coming back to it. The dress is a perfect little relic of an era we simultaneously miss and mock.

If you had one of these in your closet in 2005, you know the truth. If you did not, consider yourself lucky but also slightly curious. Either way, fashion history has blessed us with some unforgettable choices, and this one will not be forgotten anytime soon. 😭👗

It’s reminiscent of the era when stars like Miley Cyrus were constantly stepping out with massive curls, extensions, and layers that made the hair practically an accessory of its own. After years of sleek buns, pin straight styles, and more minimal hair trends dominating, seeing this much texture and volume again feels so refreshing. Mika has the perfect hair and face to pull it off, and if this is any indication of where beauty trends are heading, the bigger-the-hair era might finally be making its comeback.

Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney and Hunter Schafer were recently spotted out together, giving Euphoria fans a rare Rue, Cassie and Jules reunion away from the cameras. The trio became three of the show’s defining faces after its 2019 debut, and with the series becoming one of HBO’s biggest Gen Z cultural phenomenons, even a casual night out is enough to send the fandom into detective mode.

Of course, the internet immediately decided there had to be Euphoria tea involved. Director Harmony Korine reportedly wanted the girls to resemble ordinary college students, which added to the movie’s intentionally raw and chaotic atmosphere.
