Supreme/DJ Screw

DJ Screw was an American DJ best known for pioneering chopped and screwed, a hugely influential remix technique that became a cornerstone of the distinctive hip-hop sound that emerged in Houston, Texas in the 1990s.

DJ Screw was born Robert Earl Davis, Jr. in 1971 and was raised on Houston’s southside. After teaching himself to DJ at the age of 12 using his mother’s blues records, Screw cleverly experimented with analog hardware to create his first mixes as a teenager in 1990. To achieve the chopped and screwed effect, Screw played two copies of the same record simultaneously, pitching-down the tempo while chopping up the vocals. At the same time, Screw recorded these mixes using a four-track cassette recorder, which he could then manipulate even further – resulting in a drowsy, hypnotic signature sound.

As his tapes became more popular, Screw invited local rappers to rhyme over his remixes. This loose collective became known as the Screwed Up Click. Together, S.U.C. and its affiliates came to define Houston rap of the 1990s. Screw released four studio albums throughout the decade – most notably 3 'N The Mornin' Parts One and Two – while continuing to make and sell his sought-after tapes. He passed in November, 2000 at the age of 29. Yet his influence continues to grow nearly three decades after his death, and spans from hip-hop to experimental electronic.

Supreme has worked with the estate of DJ Screw on a new collection for Spring 2026. The collection consists of a Football Jersey, Hooded Sweatshirt, Sweatshort, Tee, 5-Panel and Bobblehead.

Supreme®/Marmot

Marmot® is an outdoor goods company founded by UC Santa Cruz students David Huntley and Eric Reynolds in 1974. Marmot is regarded for its quality, durability and long history of technical innovation.

After meeting while exploring an Alaskan glacial field in 1971, Reynolds and Huntley established Marmot Mountain Club. In Grand Junction, Colorado, they began to work with local adventurer Tom Boyce to produce their own mountaineering equipment, developed to suit their own unique needs as explorers. Reynolds and Huntley sewed their first sleeping bags and down vests in their college dorm room, and later opened an outdoor goods shop with Boyce inside a former grocery store. Marmot was then commissioned to design and produce 108 big baffled parkas for Clint Eastwood’s mountainside thriller The Eiger Sanction.

Although GORE-TEX fabric was invented in 1969, it wasn’t used in performance equipment until nearly a decade later, when Marmot became the one of the first outdoor goods companies to utilize the revolutionary weatherproofing technology in 1976. Reynolds and Huntley field tested their prototype GORE-TEX sleeping bags by sleeping in a frozen meat locker for a week, as well as sleeping under a sprinkler. The pair was so impressed with the results, they changed Marmot’s entire product line to include GORE-TEX innovative water and windproof textiles and insulations.

Over the following 50 years, Marmot has continued to adapt with bold experimentation and a commitment to enduring quality.

Supreme has worked with Marmot on a new collection for Fall 2025. The collection consists of an 800-Fill Down Parka, Fleece Jacket, Base Layer L/S Top, Base Layer Pant, Fleece Balaclava and Base Layer Beanie.
