Save this for later and send to your mom friend!

Just when you feel like you’ve figured out your baby’s naps… it’s time to drop one 😅

Nap transitions take time. You might need three naps one day and two the next while your baby adjusts. That doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong.

The move to two naps is a big milestone: it’s also when you can start following set nap times instead of doing wake-window math all day. 🙌

If your baby is 6 months or older and you’d like a sample schedule, comment their age below and I’ll send you one! 👇

“We want help… but I’m not sure anything will work for our baby.”

I hear this so often. By the time a family reaches out, they’ve usually tried the tips, adjusted the schedule, and spent a lot of late nights wondering what they’re missing.

And then there’s real life: daycare naps, an older sibling, breastfeeding, or a trip on the calendar. You don’t need all of those pieces to fall perfectly into place before you ask for help.

My program is personalized to your baby and your family. I’ll meet you where you are, help you make a plan, and support you as you work toward better sleep.

Which of these worries has been holding you back? If you’re ready to talk about your baby’s sleep, comment HELP and I’ll reach out. 🤍

Early morning wake-ups…the bane of my existence. 😅

Your baby may have gotten 10 hours of sleep—which is great—but 5 a.m. is still too early to start the day.

The tricky part? You may be unintentionally reinforcing that early wake-up with the first nap.

I know it feels counterintuitive. Your baby woke early, it’s 7 a.m., and you’re both tired. Why wouldn’t you put them down?

Because consistently moving that first nap earlier can keep the 5 a.m. wake-up going.

For babies 6 months and older, aim for a consistent first nap time based on your desired morning wake-up. Think of it as the anchor for the day. In our house, that desired wake-up time was 6:30 a.m.

For babies 4–5 months, naps you are following wake windows. Aim for a full wake window (starting at the desired wake up time) before that first nap, even after an early start.

Don’t expect things to adjust overnight. As with all things baby sleep it takes time.

But… With patience and CONSISTENCY, you can help shift mornings toward a more manageable time.

And if your baby is waking throughout the night too, comment SLEEP and I’ll send you my free guide to ending night wakings.

Be honest: do you agree, or are you the person who sets up right next to a girl in a towel when there are open lockers everywhere? 😂

I promise I won’t judge 🤭

🛑 Stop your scroll if you want peaceful nights 😴

There are 4️⃣ vital pieces to ending your baby’s night wakings:

1️⃣ A consistent bedtime routine

Your bedtime routine should be consistent—but it should also feel bonding and fun! Incorporate connection, giggles and play.

2️⃣ Eliminating sleep props

Sleep props are anything your baby relies on to fall asleep: nursing, rocking, patting, bottles, pacifiers, etc.

If your baby needs something to fall asleep at bedtime, they’re likely going to need it again when they wake during the night—and all humans wake throughout the night!

3️⃣ Consistent responses

You want to accomplish two things with a consistent response:

☝️ Help your baby know what to expect. The more consistent your response, the more predictable sleep becomes.

✌️ Give your baby an opportunity to settle back to sleep. If you respond the moment your baby makes a noise, they never get the chance to try!

4️⃣ A consistent morning routine

This is one of my favorite—and most overlooked—parts of baby sleep!

Start your baby’s day around the same time each morning and follow the same first steps before taking them out of the crib.

Use a big, enthusiastic greeting and “undo” the sleep environment: turn on the lights, open the blinds and turn off the sound machine. This helps cue your baby that nighttime is officially over!

Your baby slept beautifully for the first few months, and you thought, “We got lucky!” 🙌🏻

Then sleep completely fell apart.

Now your 5–10-month-old is waking every 1–2 hours, struggling to settle without your help, and you have no idea how you got here—or how to fix it.

You’ve researched wake windows, adjusted naps, changed bedtime, added feedings, and tried every sleep tip you can find.

You don’t need to try harder. You need a clear plan that makes sense for your baby—and the confidence to follow it consistently.

My FREE baby sleep mini course will help you understand what’s disrupting your baby’s sleep and where to begin.

Your 9-month-old probably isn’t waking every 2 hours because they’re hungry. 👀

At this age, frequent overnight feeds are often part of the pattern of waking — not the reason for the waking.

And yes, you can change that. 💛

Sometimes I wonder what the girl moms are doing 😂

Because over here it’s loud. It’s physical. Someone is always wrestling someone. There are feet on the furniture and bodies flying through the air.

But underneath all that chaos is the sweetest little world.

Three boys who still want their mom.
Who pile on top of me.
Who yell “MOM!” the second they walk in the door.
Who are getting bigger way too fast, but are still mine in all the little ways that matter.

An all-boy house is not peaceful 😂

But man, is it special. 🩵

Good sleep isn’t luck. 🙌🏻

It’s having a plan, understanding what your baby needs, and being consistent enough to give them the opportunity to learn.

And when it starts working? You get to take the credit. ❤️

I’ve been working on something for a while, and I’m SO excited to finally share it. 🥹🤍

AM Smiles started with my own experience as a mom and a belief that sleep can change so much more than just nights.

Eight years and 600+ families later, that belief has only gotten stronger.

This is the story behind AM Smiles — how it started, why I do what I do, and the families who make this work mean so much to me.

I hope you’ll take a few minutes to watch. 🤍
