FOW European Series

Hi wargamers! Hope you had a fantastic Holiday Season!

Here’s the provisional ranking for the European Series. As you know, only the three best results of the season count. Congratulations to Robby Notermans, who confirms himself as the "Winter Champion!" and well done to Graham and Quentin Taylor, who are close behind with two tournaments each.

The upcoming events are:

Milan, Italy – Italian Nationals, March 14-15, 2026 – Late War, 95 points

Heiligenhaus, Germany – German Nationals, April 11-12 – Late War, Bagration books only, 100 points

Diepenbeek, Belgium – Flanders GT, May 9-10 – Late War, 95 points

Polish Nationals 2nd day:
Everything is still possible for a lot of the players, nothing is decided yet because so many players are good here.
Game 4:
I had to face Aliaksandr. He plays a StuH list with 3 King Tigers. It’s a small formation but with a lot of artillery, a terror for my Achilles and Recce. I had to try to get the StuH use direct fire instead of bombardment my precious Achilles and Recce. Missions Souts Out was perfect for me.
I rush to the objective with UC and my 76 Shermans and I’m in turn 2 on it. He now has to come out with almost everything to shoot at me.
I start to attack also the other objective with my other UC. After 3 turns shooting, I kill 3 platoons from his formation and win.

Game 5:
Michal standing first with 26 points and I’m second with 26 points. The winner will probably win the tournament. We play Free for All on a open table, perfect for Michal with his guns.
He deployed perfect and I know I needed a miracle. I play defensive, because if I move, I would be killed in no time. Everytime Michal pushes I can kill his platoons but in the open I’m a target for his guns and he kills my tanks. He had a deserve win by taken an objective, but I managed to kill 6 platoons of him and got 3 points. I had a great fair game. Congrats for your fantastic and well deserved tournament win Michal.

I’m happy with my unexpected 4th place and I had also a fantastic tournament.

It was a great tournament, well organized, great friendly atmosphere and all happy people.
This is the 3th tournament of The European Series, still 3 to go. Next one is Milano in march organised by Paolo. See you there!

Polish Nationals, tournament 3 of The European Series 2026, It is played at Glogow, a little nice city in Poland. The Polish players prove themselves every year as topplayers at ETC. It’s a high level tournament. Polands topplayers are all here together with some other topplayers from Belarus. The atmosphere is fantastic, all nice players.
Great tables and delicious pizza’s and great opponents made my day. 18 points on 3 games did also help a little😂😂😂.
We will see what day 2 will bring.
