ATTN Kart Fest Drivers in UAS

There were some questions about the finishing order of the UAS race.

I didn't question them initially since it was a computer print out and everyone was on transponders.

I saw no reason to question the final.

However, I was asked to review the video from the 35 Youtube page linked below.

I started at the 56 minute mark to check the last couple of laps after the restart.

I can see from that video that Ed Vallette left the track in 9th place, not 14th as it was reported. Also Bryan Rowe left the track in 8th place.

Fortunately for the Lake Erie people, that did not change the end of the season points.

Please review the video and let your admins know if you beleive there is an issue.

To handle the ties, I spoke to a few people around UAS and was advised to use this formula.

A. # of Wins
b. 1/4pt Wins
C. Best Average Finish
D. Points Without Drops.

Jason Finigan and Ed Vallette had the same average finish in races that counted of 2, 4 and a 6th. Ed ran all 4 races that counted for points so he gets the 3rd position.

Scott Packard takes the position over Brian Rowe with a win that was also a 1/4 point win which is options A and B so Scott takes 5th.

Schedule of event 8-8-2026

1:00 pit gate open for parking park close 3ft between vehicles

2:00 pit gate opens for business, registration opens (blue cards filled out and handed in) also Transponders handed out (no cost)

4pm General admission opens, KART Drivers Meeting,

4:30 Kart Warm-ups then UAS quailify followed by Kart races All races have time limits transponders and racecievers mandatory,

5PM registration Closes, You can call ahead to register 740-998-2278

6:30 Warm-ups for UMP Mods, Sport Mods and Modlites only.
Slight track prep,

7:30 heats for Modlites, UMP Mods, Stocks, Trucks, Sport Mods, Compacts, Hobby stocks.

Heats: Stocks, Modlites, Sport Mods, Trucks, Compacts, Hobby stocks. B mains if needed

9pm OR SOONER A MAIN Features. Modlites, UMP Mods, Stocks, Trucks, Sport Mods, Compacts, Hobby stocks.

11:30 completed program

11:45 Tracks Lights out Court ordered curfew

Kartfest 2026 is here.

We just wanted to get some updated infor out there for everyone for the weekend.

Costs
1. $30 Pit Pass
2. $30 per class entry. $50 for UAS

Payoff
1. All Classes - 100% payback of entry fees per class. Large cardboard sign for the winner

2. UAS - Ed Vallette is adding $200 to the winner. WWE Style Championship Belt

Rules
1. Open tire for all classes except as specified for Winged Outlaws and SA Yamaha

2. Junior 3 - AKRA Clone Blue Plate Ages 9-15 300 pounds

3. Clone Medium AKRA 350 pounds

4. Clone Heavy - AKRA 400 pounds

5. 100cc Stock Appearing Yamaha

6. Stock Appearing Clone - 375 pounds
a. BIllet Side cover is allowed
b. Pump pulse can come from the head
c. Stock appearing phenolic intake manifold spacer is required
d. No aluminum manifolds
e. No HL/HR Tillotson carb. Standard Stock appearing Tillotson or 390 is allowed

7. Winged Outlaws - follow the standard rules as set by both Ohio Winged Outlaw groups for tires and specs

8. UAS
a. Follow standard UAS motor/weight rules
b. Weight must be indicated on the kart so the scale man knows your specific requirement
c. When signing in, indicate which Region you would like your points to count towards
d. All 3 UAS Regions will race together. Points will be awarded per region.
9.. Vintage - There will be a Vintage Show of Karts with possibly a few laps during intermission.
10. Transponders will be in use. Please have an ID to secure the transponder.
11. We will be sharing the race day with Trucks, Compacts and Mod Lights for the night.

Coming up on August 8, at 35 Raceway Park in Frankfort Ohio we will be presenting Kart Fest 2026 and the Terry Eblin Memorial UAS Race.

We will have the following events/races:

Vintage Kart Exhibition with some laps on the track
Junior 3 -AKRA Clone Blue Plate Ages 9-15
Clone Medium and Heavy
100cc Stock Appearing Yamaha
Stock Appearing Clone
Ohio Winged Outlaws
Terry Eblin Memorial UAS race

The Memorial race will be combining several Ohio Valley Regions for 1 big combined race.

Each class winner will receive the traditional winner sign.

The winner of the Memorial will be awarded this special trophy.
