🎉 Happy 10th Birthday to our lead off hitter and 2nd baseman, Ellie! 🎉

She may be one of the smallest players on the field, but don’t let her size fool you. Ellie is an absolute beast between the lines.

Whether she’s making plays at second base, battling at the plate, or leading by example, Ellie brings toughness, determination, and confidence every time she steps on the field. She has developed into one of the leaders of our team and continues to prove that heart, hustle, and hard work are bigger than any measurement on a roster.

One of the things we love most about Ellie is the way she plays the game. She plays with all her heart, and it never goes unnoticed. Opposing coaches and players are constantly complimenting her hustle, attitude, and the way she competes. She earns respect everywhere she goes because she gives everything she has for her team.

We’re so proud of the player and young lady she is becoming. We can’t wait to see what this next year holds for her both on and off the diamond.

🥎 Last Ride of the Season 🥎

This Saturday, Gold Premier Carrillo heads to Jacksonville for the Smokin Hot Fastpitch Tournament at Ringhaver Park. It will be our final tournament of the season, and after tonight’s practice, we could not be more excited. Honestly, it was the best full-team practice we’ve had all year.

As coaches, you always hope to see the hard work, trust, and chemistry come together at the right time. Tonight, it did. The energy was incredible, the focus was there, and the girls competed while continuing to encourage one another every step of the way.

What makes this group special goes far beyond wins and losses. These girls genuinely care about each other. They celebrate each other’s success, pick each other up after mistakes, and put the team before themselves. In today’s travel ball world, that is becoming harder and harder to find.

One thing we’re especially proud of is that our entire roster is returning this fall. No roster turnover. No rebuilding. Just a great group of players and families who believe in each other and believe in what we’re building together.

I love this team.

I love the bond these girls have created.

Now we get one more weekend together to compete, have fun, and finish this season the same way we’ve approached every challenge: together.

One of the best parts of coaching this team is seeing the girls encourage one another.

After a tough weekend playing up against older competition, Bryndle sent this message to her teammates, and it perfectly sums up who these girls are becoming.

Proud of Bryndle for her leadership and proud of this team for competing with confidence, toughness, and heart. The scoreboard doesn’t always tell the whole story. 💛🥎

This weekend was a challenge, and honestly, that’s exactly what we needed.

Saturday brought extreme heat and, without question, the two best teams we’ve faced since coming together as a team. Both opponents have competed and won gold bracket championships at the 14U level, and while the scoreboard wasn’t always kind, our girls never quit. They battled every inning, every at-bat, and every pitch.

What stood out most was the growth. We saw plenty of glimpses of who we are becoming. Even while playing up, our hitters continued to compete, putting the ball in play and making defenses work. We learned a lot about ourselves, about this move to 12U, and about what it takes to compete against older, more experienced teams.

After a long, hot Saturday, the girls showed up Sunday refreshed and ready to go. We saw outstanding outfield play by Bryndle, Naomi and Haylee, a strong performance in the circle from Delaney, Jayden throwing out 13 year olds trying to steal on her, Ellie locking down the right side, and several big defensive plays from Maddie at the hot corner. Delaney also led the offense, going 2-for-2 with 2 RBIs.

Most importantly, these girls continue to prove that they are tough, resilient, and willing to learn.

We have one tournament left before a short break, and we’re excited to finish this stretch strong. The future is bright for this group, and every challenge is helping us become the team we know we can be because we did it in 10U and will do it again as we grow and develop our game.

🥎✨ Tournament Weekend is Here! ✨🥎

The are headed back to Lake City this weekend for the USSSA Florida State Championships!

After making the jump to 12U, our girls continue to embrace every challenge, compete with heart, and grow with every inning. We are excited for another opportunity to test ourselves against strong competition and continue building toward something special.

This is sound advice from our 3rd baseman, #55. Sometimes the best thing we can do for our girls isn’t give them another lesson, drill, or game. It’s encouraging them to dream, explore, and simply enjoy being kids.

A bucket list teaches goal setting, creativity, and making memories. Whether it’s learning a new skill, reading a book, visiting a new place, or spending time with family, having something to look forward to makes summer even better.

As coaches, we hope our spend this summer growing not only as softball players, but as young ladies. Fill your summer with adventure, laughter, and memories you’ll never forget.
