Newburgh Junior Baseball is proud to present the 2026 Newburgh Cake Eater Classic, presented by Nothing Bundt Cakes!

We’re bringing together great baseball, fall tournament energy, and a little Newburgh-style class for one of our premier annual events.

Newburgh Diamond Kings 9U Baseball welcomes you to tryout out for our upcoming 2026-2027 9U baseball Team. We are a very strong AA team that was Indiana's USSSA State Championship Finalist finishing 2n overall in Indiana. Our record in USSSA was 29-12-1. We will host our tryout at Newburgh Vann Road Park on Saturday July 25th 9am until 12 noon on Lawnmaster (Green) field. Signups are on the Newburgh Junior Baseball website (Team Snap) page. Coached by Coach David "Doc" Schultz. 2027 Season Info: 2-3 fall tournaments, 8-10 Spring Tournaments. Our focus is on player development. Must be born after 5.1.17. Must play NJB Rec ball spring 2027

The DK Boys finished their careers in 8u Coach Pitch by winning [at home] The BATTLE of the BURGH!!!! It was a team effort again, beating Gibson Southern in an extra inning and Jasper in the Championship.

Shout-out to Coach David "Doc" Schultz for a very successful 8u season (35-10-1), a Runner-up finish at the USSSA State Tournament, and a #3 Class-AA Ranking in the Indiana USSSA Baseball standings (25-9-1). Also, a special shout-out to Coach Cody Ewers. Coach, we appreciated your commitment and mental discipline to continue to go out there on the mound and throw strikes, knowing you were going to give up 15.5 runs a game 😆🙃

NJB Teams and Families. We will need all hands on deck starting tomorrow at Vann and Mulzer.

We have crews at the fields now but will continue to need hands in the morning. Just show up and help us work the field conditioner into the fields.

Crews will be at both parks by 7:00am just show up and lend a hand. If you have a rake, shovel or blower bring it.

Congratulations to the USSSA Class-AA 8u STATE RUNNER-UP Newburgh Diamond Kings

The kids played their hearts out and just fell short in extra innings. They showed they were one of the best in the state this weekend, and will continue to get better! We want to thank our Sponsors for helping our families travel to watch our boys!
