This past weekend, our members headed to Lake George for the 2026 Hudson Valley Volunteer Firefighters Association parade! 🚒✨
​While we didn’t bring home a trophy this time, the real win was the incredible effort from our crew. We want to give a massive shoutout to all of our members for the countless hours they spent detailing, polishing, and preparing Engine 311, Car 1, and Car 2. Everyone did an amazing job, and the fleet looked sharp! 👏
​We also want to congratulate all the departments near and far that took home awards. A special shoutout to our Town of Newburgh neighbors, Cronomer Valley Fire Department and Winona Lake Fire Engine Company 2. — well deserved! 🏆🎉

Just a few quick safety tips while you enjoy the summer 🚒 👩‍🚒

Our crews and neighboring departments are all currently operating on multiple calls, including wires down along with down trees. Traveling is not recommended at this time.

We are happy to share that the Town of Newburgh has rescheduled our Memorial Day parade to Sunday, June 28th! We are looking forward to seeing everyone there for the 1:00pm step-off.

Earlier today at approximately 11:00 AM, Car 1, Car 2, Rescue 315, Engine 314, and Utility-317 responded to a report of a tractor-trailer off the roadway on Interstate 84 Eastbound.
​Upon arrival, crews discovered that one of the truck's diesel saddle tanks had ruptured during the collision. Thanks to the rapid response and coordinated efforts of our members, the leak was quickly isolated and contained before it could spread further into the environment.
​Fortunately, the driver was not injured in the incident.
​Working alongside the New York State Police, our crews cleared the scene and all units were back in service by 12:20 PM.
​Thank you to our members for their swift action and to NYSP for the assistance on scene! 🚒💪

​The City of Newburgh Fire Department and Good-Will Fire Department were dispatched to a working structure fire just a few doors down from our own firehouse. Thanks to the quick response and seamless teamwork with several neighboring agencies, the fire was safely brought under control.

​It’s always a privilege serving alongside our mutual aid partners. 🤝

The town parade may have been canceled, but our members still gathered for the Town of Newburgh Memorial Service to honor our fallen heroes. 🇺🇸
​We will never forget the ultimate sacrifice made by those who served our country.
