Today I’m talking about my (somewhat new) OBSESSION

BLENDER BOMBS 😍
I heard about these little beauties probably 2 years ago but it was just a few months ago that I jumped on the bandwagon. I decided to try using a bomb as opposed to hunting for a new protein powder that would most likely be full of weird ingredients or (more likely than not) taste like chalk. Let me tell ya, the bombs didn’t disappoint! They pack a nutrient dense punch and help to keep me full and fueled throughout my day. These bombs are the BEST. They are nutrient dense (literally, they contain all essential amino acids + fatty acids) and so versatile. Pop them in your smoothies, throw them on top of your yogurt bowl or just eat them straight out of the box. Its a great snack on the go! The bomb drizzle is also 💯and I would have included it in the photo had I not used it all up.

-SATURDAY- 4/10 is BACK after a few weeks break! Join me in Newport for a 60min awesome Saturday sweat session. 7:30am meet up, 7:45am start time and kick your weekend off in style

Simplicity is key and also when it comes to ingredients (a majority of the time), less is more. This simple nut milk is both, and also utterly delicious! When I say it’s simple that is the TRUTH. The first time I tried making nut milk I was scared bc I thought it was going to be a long and tortured process, I was very wrong. It’s neither of those things and with a small bit of pre-planning, you can have this done in 15mins max! Not to mention it has ZERO gums and/or stabilizers like almost all of its store bought counterparts. 5 simple ingredients is all it takes! Check out the details below 👇🏼

⭐️ 5 Ingredient Nut Milk ⭐️
You will need:
✔️ 1 cup of nuts (roughly)
- Used a blend of almonds, walnuts + cashews (I think higher fat nuts tend to make a creamier milk) but you do you!
- The nuts do need to be pre-soaked. So soak over night in the fridge, or in hot water for 2 hours
✔️ 2 pitted dates
- if super firm let them soak in warm water for a min
✔️ 5-6 cups of cold filtered water
- less or more depending on if you want it thinner or thicker
✔️ 1 tsp. organic vanilla
✔️ dash of salt
Directions:
- Place all ingredients in a high speed blender. Blend together for at-least 3 mins to make sure everything it’s pulverized and combined.
- Strain by using a nut milk bag (I found mine at but also has everything) or a cheese cloth.
- Place in fridge. Good for up to 5 days

Running into the new week like ... 🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️

Since we’re in the subject, let’s talk about running for a minute. I feel like just about everyone has a love, hate relationship with it. Some mornings it can get me a excited + be one of my favorite ways to get in my morning movement. Clocking miles and chasing that “runners high” can bring me so much joy. At the same time it is one of my most challenging mentally. Not only the endurance for my body to keep going, but to also tell myself positive thoughts so that when I finish, I feel GOOD about what I just accomplished. No matter what mileage, pace + time.

This morning was the first time in a while that when I woke up I said, “I’m so excited to run today!”. Taking a new perspective and will be enjoying new views + learning my new neighborhood. Ready to go with my new Justin Bieber playlist, I think my Monday morning run is gonna be FABULOUS!

A yogurt bowl is ALWAYS a good idea 😋

Breakfast? 1000% YES!
Lunch? Delish!
Snack? What a great pick me up!
Dinner? Why Not?!
Dessert? I mean I would typically go for Ice Cream, but I wouldn’t turn it down!

Whether your diary free or not, there are so many great options as your base. My go to’s are Plain 2% greet yogurt or cocoyo (when I can buy it on sale 😉). also makes tons of great options that i’ve been taste testing. After you pick your base then pile it as high or as low with goodies as you’d like! I love to add frozen or fresh berries, chopped apples or banana slices. And to top it off I add granola (I love ) or a , maybe a few chopped walnuts or almonds and a sprinkle of cacao nibs and/ or chia seeds. SO TASTY + SATISFYING

Need some inspo for a last minuet, easy, delish + nutrish dinner??

My go-to when I’m pinched for time and lacking a bit of imagination, is a big batch of roast veggies. Most of the time you can find them pre-chopped or you can even use frozen. To add in even more goodness I use Golden Mellow as a way to season them. It isn’t just for smoothie’s and golden lattes y’all! I use a 1 tsp. of Golden Mellow, a few cranks of black pepper and a sprinkling of garlic salt and boom those veggies are ready to roast with a flavor profile that is 💯. Add your favorite protein, a little brown rice and some greens on the side and call dinner done! Happy Friday Y’all 😊
