NHYC is a small private yacht club located in Newport Beach, California, USA.
NHYC maintains a very active year round yacht racing calendar and supports one of the most successful junior sailing programs in the county.
The dredging project in Newport Harbor has been a very large undertaking. We’d like to THANK everyone for their patience during the project and we wish you all a safe and happy 4th of July celebration / weekend 🇺🇸

We are still coming up-for-air after a long week of Team Racing with both the Palmer Trophy and Baldwin Cup just completed. The boats are being cleaned and returned to their owners and the clubhouse is returning to normal operations. The next BIG event is Opening Day (in two weeks). Congratulations to NHYC Team Lightning on winning the 2026 Baldwin Cup! By winning the Baldwin Cup this year, the team has qualified for the 2026 team racing world championship in Stockholm Sweden this August!
