Throughout the Fall 2026 season, Region 97 is hosting FREE Goalkeeper Clinics and Skills Sessions on Fridays with professional trainers. The QR codes above & links in our bio (same!) go to the weekly sign-up sheets. Limited number of spots each week.

Note - Goalkeeper Clinic is ON for Sep 4, Skills Sessions are OFF for that day.

Region 97 sent several teams to AYSO Region 114’s Battle at the Beach Tournament this past weekend, and the Girls U13 won the tournament! WAY TO GO!! 🥇🏆

City of Costa Mesa has announced the following field closures for special events. No AYSO practice during these times! Coaches, talk to your Division Director if this impacts you. 📬

FAMILY FUN NIGHT 2026 ✨

Join us on Friday, August 21 between 5-7pm at Kaiser Elementary School for the kick-off of our fall season to meet your team and coaches. The gate entrance on 21st between Santa Ana and Tustin will be open.

We look forward to celebrating the upcoming season of soccer fun! Food will be available for purchase from Deli Nerds 🥙 and the first 150 people in attendance will receive free, delicious and cold paletas! 🧊

We will have a variety of organizations and fun games out on the field:

👋 Meet Your Team: Your coach will email you this week about a confirmed time to meet them, the team, and your division director. Be sure to arrive early to find parking & stay late to enjoy the FUN!

⚽️ English Premier Soccer (professional soccer trainers) will host skills sessions and scrimmages for players.

🏟️ Orange County Soccer Club (OCSC) and our favorite mascot Gnarly will be sharing information about their season, tickets, and our upcoming AYSO x OCSC Soccer Night. Save the date: Saturday, September 26th! Plus, registered & certified volunteers can win Region 97’s 4-pack of season tickets throughout Fall 2026.

♻️ Pre-loved Equipment Donation: We will be hosting everyone’s favorite area, where we encourage families to bring their used soccer gear for other families in need or look through for items your family needs!

Plus: photo area 📸, temporary tattoos ✨, ask anything table ❓, & more!

AYSO Region 97 Family Fun Night is open to all players and their families! 💙🧡

As you know, AYSO is an all-volunteer organization designed to deliver a world class soccer program to enrich children’s lives.

BUT WE CAN’T DO IT WITHOUT A CONSTANT SUPPLY OF NEW VOLUNTEERS!!!

That is where YOU come in!

There are multiple positions that one can help with, and referees happen to be
my department so I’m biased but referee volunteers are really important!

It is the best seat in the house and we will provide you with all the equipment and training you need!

NO REF, NO GAME, NO FUN.

That said, please see the list of upcoming classes and get certified!!!

The kids need OUR help!!!
