The technology behind hair lightening has come so far throughout my career. We're now able to lift the melanin out of the cuticle without stripping the hair of all of it's natural moisture and strength giving us the ability to lighten the hair past all the brassy tones we once got stuck at before breaking the hair off back in the day!

Runners hair!!! What is it!?! Well it's my own definition:)

and I are both past distance runners, Kayla quite fresh from her high school career! If you've had a XC career, you'll never forget your two-a-days, running twice a day which also often means washing your hair twice a day on top of your daily routine. Shampoo can often be the largest culprit when drying out your hair if your cleansing too often. Don't worry, I have answers for you!

You do not need to cleanse your hair each time you shower. You can always let your sweat dry in your hair, this is what I most often do now after my hot yoga classes. If you go this route, spray Fresh Affair Dry shampoo in your hair before you workout to help absorb your sweat and perfume your hair!

Another option is to just rinse your hair with water omitting your cleanse and skipping to conditioner!

Once you're done w two-a-days you can finally grow your mermaid lengths like and I are working on!

I always thought in high school that I couldn't grow my hair past my shoulders without it looking stringy, now I wash my hair 1-2 times per week and I'm able to grow my length past my bra-line and believe it or not when I get there, I might get extensions for the first time in my life to have insanely long hair! can you believe it!?? Who wants the honor? Though, I still have a good 18 months of natural growth, because I'm gonna need the best blend or I will lose my mind if I can see where the natural hair ends on my own head

Well she's covered that and threatened to have some else cut her hair if I don't! told me today to do it ASAP before Imogen cuts it herself! A huge thank you to those past and present for doing something I could never have done and thank you to all their families holding down the forts while they deploy to keep us and our unique and beautiful freedom free. Clearly an extra shout out to my bro who keeps on producing babes and getting deployed leaving my sister in law to become super mom!

Extensions have evolved so much throughout my career and I'm finally getting the itch to dive into them! Who thinks it's a good time for me to try and master these skillz?

I made sure to do a ton of internal layering on this one length bob to give her texture, remove weight and cut down on her blow dry time as she boss babes her way through life🥰
