Moral of the story: s**t happens, but you gotta glow through what you go through. Two days ago on my 26th birthday I totaled my ride and broke my finger. I’m sore and bruised but I’m here to fight another day. 2021 is still going to be a great year and I’m determined to make it happen. Good morning world! I just want to share some positivity as I’m in my car crying tears of joy. This is my promise to you that things get BETTER. The past few years I had been suffering from trauma induced depression and anxiety and at times I really felt hopeless. I never tried to take my own life because I know my dad would follow me to wherever I go and beat me senseless. 😂 Given this is a serious matter and at times I felt low enough that I thought about it.
Sometimes, Joy is a choice. I’m a whole hot mess today and have been the last month and a half with just so many changes and unexpected things popping up with life.
But, I can truly say for the first time in a long time (Possibly since high school) I am happy, joyous and grateful.
Things are not perfect (and they never will be) things are definitely a mess. But the people I have in my corner are unbeatable and the God I serve s unrelenting and has gotten me to this place of PEACE.
I spent months praying for peace and strength and I’ve been blessed me with just that.
Life is a fluid growing process and if anything I hope this post encourages you to choose joy. Glow through what you’re going through and spread light on others whenever possible.

This photo shoot was a huge confidence booster for me.. idk about you but I’ve been struggling with body image and feeling not good enough.
Taking a step back and looking at these photos I have nothing to be ashamed of.
We all struggle with something and this season was weight for me but now that I’m stressing less (and eating less 😂) I know I can achieve my goals.

Talk about feeling incredible!!! All I can say is “things get better.” Or rather to quote the Bible “this too shall pass.”
I felt lower than low the past few months but I took that despair and sadness & turned it into fortitude and bravery.
Stepping into a world that I have no knowledge of with the faith that I will prevail.
made me feel so comfortable in my own skin and did a wonderful job of shooting me!
