Ludus Ferocia is a club focused on historical combat. We welcome students and instructors from any historical combat art.
We currently teach HEMA, Archery, and Japanese arts. We are sparring-oriented group focused on both accuracy and competition.

Congrats to our own Ria, one hell of a fighter for earning Silver in Kings Cup URG Sabre! Ria has been training at 3 different clubs over the years, to include Order of the Talon and Colonial Fighting Fellowship (sorry guys tried to tag)! Congrats to all of those who medaled, we were happy to have a few members to attend.
The shuriken and katana were meant to be used together.

Midland Madness 2026 was a lot of fun! Alberto won bronze in Sabre and in Longsword, all as his first time competing and with a broken thumb! Holly won best sportsmanship award and connected with some awesome people. Thanks to all that showed us a good time at the tourney! We will be at more.

We've officially sold out of swords!
Our first run of Reinfeders all have new owners. 30 swords down, now to onto the next batch! We are excited to get these in the hands of more fencers
Currently, we've had no durability reports and overall opinions of handling and responsiveness have been positive. Only time will tell, of course.

It was an honor to learn from Kurt Holtfreter of Triangle Sword Guild. We hosted Kurt for a 2-day, 14 hour seminar on Knightly Combat, combative techniques taken from Armizare and Abrizare. These are the unarmed and armed teachings from Fiore Dei Liberi, a 14th century Italian knight and master of many combat arms. Kurt put on an amazing, informative, and information rich course that we hope to take part in again.
