Stakeholders, friends, and family, el presidente here,

The final whistle has blown in Apex, and while the scoreline read 69 to 20 in favor of the Vipers, it does not tell the full story of the men who stood on that pitch. Our boys battled through every phase of play, refusing to yield despite the punishing North Carolina heat. They played their asses off until the very last second, and for that, they have my absolute respect.

While we fell short of the Super Regional, this spring has been a testament to the growth of this club. We secured a hard fought playoff victory against Rappahannock and proved that the Blues belong in the championship conversation.

We owe a massive debt of gratitude to Charles Wesner for stepping up and assuming the head coaching duties. His leadership provided the stability and vision we needed to navigate this postseason run. To the players: thank you for your relentless commitment to the jersey and to each other. You have built a foundation that we will continue to grow.

The work does not stop here. We want every one of you back on the pitch for the 2026 / 2027 campaign, which kicks off in early August. We will regroup, reload, and return even stronger.

Please stand by for upcoming announcements regarding:

The Annual Players Banquet and the Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Enjoy the well deserved rest. We look forward to seeing everyone soon to celebrate what we have built together.

D2 Championship tomorrow! Here’s our lineup 😃

Teammates, friends, and family, Blues president here.

It is an honor to speak with you today, and a greater honor still to stand with this year’s squad. We have dispatched Rappahannock and cleared our path. Now, once more, we play this game we love so much, a game of raw strength, relentless fitness, and cold decision making under pressure. Standing in our way is our old adversary, the Raleigh Vipers.

For over forty years, hundreds of Blues have taken the pitch and played it well. But make no mistake: today is different. We bring new athletes and fresh tactical brilliance, but we wear the same storied jerseys.

A NEW ERA OF DOMINANCE
This roster reminds me of the heady days of Otis Purvis, Keith Wright, Ed Stockunas, and Eric Hagan. Those were the days when opponents were utterly overwhelmed by a blitzing attack and a stifling defense that offered no quarter. Under the command of Tim Berger, the Blues are traveling with a championship squad of amazing athletes and committed leadership.

THE MISSION
The Vipers will face a new Blues team fueled by that immortal ethos: NEVER SURRENDER.

The winner of this clash earns the Capital’s seed at the Atlantic Super Regional. We go to North Carolina not just to play, but to conquer.
