The 757 Lakers Pastors/Ministers Basketball Team. The 757 Lakers are a basketball exhibition team from Norfolk, Virginia, in the United States. In their playing style, they combine athleticism, religion, and fun. The team was founded in 2018 by Rev. Dr. Tyrone Jackson, Jr. and Elder Ronnie D. Joyner, II

I know that we have not posted anything up here in a good little while. Well, it’s about time to do so. Question that you may have, what’s been going on with the 757 Lakers? Well, we won our first tournament championship last December, and we’re gearing up for this next one coming up in December. We’re going to share photos. Also, we are doing a little upgrading. We now have a new logo. Plus, we have added a few new faces. You will see a lot more from us now.

The Boyz are Back! 🏀
The 757 Lakers pulled off the win — led by Pastor Yancey, Pastor Myrick, Rev. Reggie, and the squad!
It was a blast playing at Zion Word Restoration Church for their 2025 Book Bag Giveaway and Pastor vs. Pastor Basketball Game.

With their 49th win of the season, a statement W over the Dallas Mavericks , the Los Angeles Lakers have officially clinched a spot in the 2025 NBA Playoffs.
It hasn’t always been pretty. The season brought adversity, criticism, and questions about whether this team still had the heart of a contender. But through it all, they found their rhythm, their chemistry, and their fight. Now, sitting at 49-31, they’ve answered every doubt with results.
The win secures the Lakers at least the No. 6 seed in the West. LeBron, Luka, and the purple & gold are back where they belong. The mission isn’t done. It’s just getting started.
