Dear Shuttlers and badminton enthusiasts,

Welcome to the the new and exciting semester. We from the OU Badminton Club wish you the very best for the upcoming exciting academic year. The following are some housekeeping details from us.

As previously, there is an abysmal cost to being in the Badminton Club. The perks of being a member include free tournament class shuttles during the training, 1 free grip and 1 free string over the semester, and you get to meet a diverse number of students, staffs and faculties. Please pay the fees to , Yandong and , Hongxuan (Anita).
Students: $15
Non students OU affiliates: $30
Non-Affiliated: $40

As previously, we will be hosting badminton coaching sessions on Saturdays from 10:00 to 12:30. If you are interested in learning and improving your badminton skills, these badminton coaching sessions are a must for you. These are the tentative dates:
9/15
9/22
10/6
11/24

Club practices times
for this Fall 2018 semesters are:
Tuesday - 17:30 to 19:30
Thursday - 17:30 to 19:30
Sunday - 15:00 to 17:00

We have lots of events
coming up this coming semester, for example, internal tournaments, outings and our annual Sooner Open. We are short of staff to organize so many events and would like some members to help out in the organizing committee. The benefit of being a committee member is that you do not have to pay the semesterly fees and also no fees for Sooner Open or other tournaments. We are excited to make this an exciting semester and year for you all.

If you know someone who would like to join the club, please encourage them to come to the courts.
