We are a non-profit with a mission to increase water safety through free & low-cost lessons and adaptive swim instruction for all individuals, including those with disabilities! Head Coach John Manison founded the Sailfish Swim Club as a way to help children refine their swimming abilities in a competitive environment. After spending several years watching young swimmers get burnt out by 5 day a week mandatory practices and coaches that neglected to add a personal touch to their program John decided to change the way swim training was done. By incorporating team practices and private coaching into his curriculum young athletes will have custom made training programs to focus on the skill sets that need the most work. With practice only occurring twice per week and individual coaching once per week the Sailfish Swim Club will help develop children's competitive swimming ability while simultaneously building passion, teamwork, and discipline.
