Alaska Wild Baseball Club With Tough Game Against Icemen

Alaska Wild Baseball Club couldn't keep up with Icemen and fell 14-0 on Sunday at Growden Memorial Park.

Icemen were the first to get on the board in the first when a dropped third strike scored one run.

Icemen added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Landon Walker singled down the left field line, and Icemen scored on a passed ball, each scoring one run.

Icemen scored five runs on one hit in the top of the third inning. Keagan Broussard singled, scoring three runs, Walker drew a walk, scoring one run, and a wild pitch scored one run.

Icemen scored five runs on four hits in the top of the fifth inning. JW Killoran drew a walk, scoring one run, Damien Mujica singled, scoring one run, a steal of home scored two runs, and Griffen McNeal singled, scoring one run.

Walker earned the win for Icemen. The pitcher surrendered one hit and zero runs over one inning, striking out three and walking none. Aiden Baird took the loss for Alaska Wild Baseball Club. The hurler went two innings, surrendering five runs (four earned) on three hits, striking out four and walking four. Skylar Zeller stepped on the hill first for Icemen. The pitcher allowed four hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out seven and walking four.

Austin Milazzo and Noah Douglas each collected two hits for Alaska Wild Baseball Club. Alaska Wild Baseball Club turned one double play in the game.

Icemen accumulated 10 hits in the game. Walker, Broussard, and McNeal each collected two hits for Icemen. Broussard went 2-for-3 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in. Icemen had patience at the plate, amassing eight walks for the game. Peter Daigle and Killoran led the team with two free passes each. Killoran, Broussard, Isaac Garcia, Mujica, and McNeal each stole multiple bases for Icemen. Icemen ran wild on the base paths, piling up 13 stolen bases for the game.

Alaska Wild Baseball Club play at home on Sunday against Fuegos in their next game.

4. Alaska Wild Baseball Club is a 501C3 charity recognized by the IRS (EIN 39-3934106) and AK Business License # 2235190 and all assets are under the control of the charity.
5. Alaska wild Baseball Club is now a member of FAABL and fielding a team for the 2026 season.
