This year, we're celebrating 70 years in business!

We began in 1956 as a small rink shop inside Rainbo Ice Arena in Chicago. From those early days, our focus was simple: help skaters find what they need to feel supported on the ice.

Over time, that commitment has stayed the same, even as the sport, and the way we serve it, has evolved.
We’ve worked with first-time skaters finding their footing, and with athletes performing on the world’s biggest stages. We’ve grown from a local shop to serving skaters across the country and around the world. And along the way, we’ve continued to invest in new ways to better support this community, from our catalog and dealer network to e-commerce and on-the-road services.

At the center of it all is the same belief:
That every skater deserves the right fit, the right equipment, and the right support to reach their full potential.

Our success has always been tied to the success of the skaters and families we serve, and we don’t take that lightly. To everyone who has trusted us, grown with us, and been part of this journey over the past 70 years—thank you.
