There are some posts you hope you’ll never have to write… and unfortunately, this is one of them. 💜
After a lot of thought, many sleepless nights, and one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make, I’ve made the decision to close Happy Hideaway.
Our tentative closing date will be Friday, September 25th.
Two years ago, Happy Hideaway started as more than just a nutrition club. It was built with the dream of creating a place where people could stop in, be greeted by name, laugh for a few minutes, celebrate life’s wins, vent about the hard days, and leave feeling just a little bit better than when they walked in. Whether you came in every single morning, once a week, or only stopped by every now and then, you became a part of what made this place so special.
Over the last two years, we’ve celebrated birthdays, graduations, new jobs, engagements, babies, milestones, and so many little victories together. We’ve watched kids grow taller, made countless custom drinks, laughed over silly conversations, learned everyone’s “usual,” and built friendships that I’ll carry with me forever.
To every customer who chose to support a small business instead of a big chain…
To every person who recommended us to a friend…
To every teacher who ordered deliveries…
To every family who made us part of their routine…
To every person who simply walked through our doors…
Thank you.
Thank you for believing in my dream. Thank you for your patience, your kindness, your encouragement, and for making Happy Hideaway feel like so much more than just a business. You gave this little shop a heartbeat, and I will never be able to put into words how grateful I am for that.
While this chapter is coming to an end, this isn’t goodbye forever.
Many of you know that before Happy Hideaway, I was part of the Northwood Nutrition family. I’m happy to share that I’ll be returning there, and I truly hope you’ll continue this journey with me.
For all of my amazing teachers and staff at Woodmore Elementary and the Genoa schools—don’t worry! ❤️ I’ll still be making your deliveries. The only difference is that your favorite drinks will simply arrive with a different name on the cup. You’ll still see me, and I’ll still be bringing the same care and excitement to every delivery.
Although closing Happy Hideaway is heartbreaking, I know this next step is the right one for me and my family. Sometimes life asks us to turn the page, even when we aren’t quite ready to finish the chapter.
Over the next several weeks, I’d love nothing more than to see as many of you as possible before we close our doors. Come visit, grab your favorite shake or tea, share a memory, snap one last photo, or just stop in to say hi. Every visit means more than you’ll ever know.

Thank you for every smile, every conversation, every laugh, and every ounce of support you’ve shown over these last two years.
This place may be closing, but the friendships, memories, and community we’ve built together will always stay with me.
