Starting a new sport is exciting — but for many families, the cost of getting started can be the biggest barrier of all.

DC EDGE’s Diversity Scholarship helps offset skating expenses for a BIPOC athlete who is new to synchronized skating or new to our team, so that a first season on the ice is something every skater can experience, regardless of financial barriers.

OJ Blue, Prelim Red and Prelim Blue boot camp ✅

These athletes worked so hard on their programs, and enjoyed time together goal setting, team building and learning their warm up dance! We can’t wait to see what they accomplish this season!

Our junior, juvenile and OJ red teams had boot camp this weekend. We are so proud of your hard work and excited to see where your programs can go! Thank you to Nicole Zamore, EdD, CMPC and Alyssa Liverette for bringing their talents and knowledge to our camp, and to our coaches and managers for their dedication to the teams!

We ended a fabulous spring training with some summer fun at practice! Our athletes and coaches are working hard and super pumped to start their new programs after a much deserved break. Happy summer! ☀️🏝️😎
