Hello to all at The Art of Dance and Classical Ballet and to all Alumni of Virginia James Dance Academy and Bridget James, The Studio,
We have great and exciting news for the studio! Although it is sad for me and will be the end of a long era, I will be retiring this year. I will be sixty-one and I’m ready to spend a lot more time with my family and especially my grandbabies. It has been an amazing run of 27 years for my studio and 61+ years, this year, for the family business. I want to thank all of my family and thank my staff, teachers, students, parents, grandparents and all other family members throughout the years for all their support and dedication to the studio. I will truly miss everyone dearly! The great and exciting news is that Miss Elizabeth Bridgeman, our Co 3 teacher, bought my studio and is ready to take ownership as of August 1st, 2021. She is 30 years younger than I am with an energetic passion to own her own studio. She loves the Arts and will be renaming the studio, Bridgeman Academy of Performing Arts, Bridgeman Arts, for short. She has so many amazing ideas and she will be presenting them at the Open Houses, Friday, June 4th from 4:00-7:00pm and Saturday, June 5th from 10:00-12:00pm. She will be answering any and all questions you have. I pray many blessings of success to her and her family and hope you will join her on this wonderful journey.
