Everyone thinks I’ve always loved my body. The truth is, I haven’t.

I’ve compared her, criticized her, wished parts of her were smaller, tighter, different. I spent years thinking confidence would come once I finally had the “right” body.

But somewhere along the way, I realized I didn’t need to love every single thing I saw in the mirror every single day. I just needed to stop making my love for myself conditional.

I still have insecurities. The difference is, I don’t let them keep me from being seen anymore.

Wear the bikini. Take the picture. Take up space. Live your fu***ng life. 💜
