Problems with the LV site, according to a Vegas insider: "Murphy has serious doubts the Raiders will be able to service their financial obligations after the team’s honeymoon ends...Laughable lack of parking? No problem. Millions in road and infrastructure improvements needed? Get the checkbook. Flood channel apparently no expert saw before the site was selected? Hey, these things happen. Questionable transparency in the Raiders’ financing of the deal? Nothing to see here. Let’s move along."
On proposed $1.9 billion domed football stadium, a local critic remains on the sidelines
The cheering had barely subsided at the Clark County Government Center, but Don Murphy wasn’t among those joining in the political tailgate party that takes place whenever the proposed $1.9 billion domed football stadium project is on the commission agenda.

"Everything about this scene is Oakland."
Marshawn Lynch Had The Oakland Coliseum Dancing

Black Hole will leave lasting vestige of Jets-Raiders AFL memories
OAKLAND, Calif. — They are all memories now, some for years, some for decades. Municipal Stadium in Kansas City was the first to go, in 1971, followed by Buffalo’s War Memorial Stadium the next yea…

The good old days for the The Oakland Raiders. (Key word: OAKLAND)

"And how about the fans? The NFL is always belching bromides about the fan, the ones who spend the money and paint their faces and fuel it all. You know, the ones who gave up their Sundays for the sport? Raiders fans are among the most loyal, vocal and vociferous in the nation. The Raiders mantra is “Just Win, Baby.” Maybe they should hear the growing chorus from their customers. Don’t Move, Baby."

Great column by Ray Ratto of CSN Bay Area & CSN California! He calls out Mark Davis for his dishonesty and disloyalty to Raiders fans.

Only factor forcing Mark Davis out of Oakland is his own desires
Now that Mark Davis will officially try to relocate the Raiders twice in two years, any desire he had for Oakland is long gone.

Is pain a necessary building block for Raiders?
Saturday’s playoff loss in Houston hurt. But the arc of Raiders history is bending toward greatness.

Great Al Saracevic column in today's San Francisco Chronicle:
"I sincerely hope Mark Davis and his ownership partners take a step back and look at what they’ve built here in Oakland. With the 49ers in utter disarray, I’ll once again point out that the Bay Area football market is there for the taking. Get a stadium built right here in Oakland, so we can all watch this young team mature into greatness."
