California Football Academy, a great Flag Football & 7v7 Passing League program serving the East Bay Our players come from all over the bay area.

California Football Academy offers fun youth sports programs. Register for our fun flag football program for youths and teens in our community. We run 2 season of Flag Football - Fall and Spring. Our flag football league is designed for youths ages 4 through 16. We will host several Flag Football tournaments, camps, and other events. Be a part of CFA and Play Like A Champion!

There are simply no words for the heartbreak our community is feeling right now. Our deepest condolences go out to the families who have suffered an unimaginable loss, and we continue to keep those who were injured, their families, friends, classmates, teammates, and everyone affected by this tragedy in our thoughts and prayers.

The loss of these young lives is not only a devastating loss for their families, but a tremendous loss for Liberty High School and our entire community.

May these families feel the love of an entire community standing beside them during this incredibly difficult time. 💙🙏

✔️ Some teams will also participate in referee‑training scrimmages (your coach will notify you)

Scrimmage teams will have 45 minutes of practice + 45 minutes of scrimmage inside Freedom High School Stadium.

Please remember 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟑 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐲.

🏈💗𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗲

Coach Renee showed up to our Co‑Ed Camp with one mission: 𝘂𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘀. She’s here to remind them that flag football isn’t “just for the boys” ; the girls are coming, and they’re going to take over this sport.

Her youngest son is now a senior varsity player, but she still chooses to be out here for other people’s kids. No daughter in the program, no child at camp, just a coach who loves this game and loves seeing young girls light up when they realize they belong on this field.

She teaches them the basics, the work ethic, the hustle but most of all she teaches them to have fun. The smiles on their faces are her favorite part of the day.

Coach Renee is out here for the next generation, and for every girl who needs someone to say, "𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚.”

All CFA players are still required to wear soft shell helmets and a mouthguard during games.

CFA players will be provided with an NFL Flag team jersey, flag belt and 1 pair of shorts (no pockets)
Or can wear their own bottoms, so long as there are no pockets.
Athletes can wear running shoes or cleats. No metal.

Beginning Fall, families may choose between:

🏈✨ 𝐀𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐨‑𝐄𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩: 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭!

Coach KC made the rounds at our 8U and 10U divisions, checking in with some of our campers and asking the question we love to hear: “Why do you like flag football?” These kids remind us every day why this sport matters.

We also caught a quick interview with Coach Chris over at 8U, where he shouted out his Camper of the Day. An athlete who showed heart and hustle.

Moments like these are what make CFA special. Coaches connecting, campers growing, and a community that keeps showing up with love for the game.

🏈✨ A look back at Co‑Ed Camp: 6U Spotlight!

One of our favorite moments came from a mini interview with Coach Mcmath who teamed with Coach Brett to run the flag‑pulling station for our 6U division. The perfect mix of fun and fundamentals.

And right there learning from the sidelines was one of our youngest campers. McMath's son, a 4U QB/RB who reminded us that the love for the game starts early. These are the moments that make CFA special: coaches leading with heart, kids discovering confidence, and families building community together. 🫶
