Premium Quality - Limited Production Hunting Bows
Over 30 Years Experience I'm currently making traditional hunting bows on a limited basis.

Unfortunately, I will not be taking any custom orders for them. The bows will be made as stock bows and sold on a first come, first serve basis. Any stock bows that become available will be listed on social media, in addition to email notices sent from my mailing list. If you're interested in getting on the mailing list, feel welcome to sign up on my webpage at... www.stahlbows.com

A new/better website where the bows can be directly purchased from is coming soon.

Pioneer Dual Shelf (Right and Left Hand)

41 # draw weight - 60" length.

Listed and ready for adventure...

*Please note that the sight window and arrow shelf on the ambidextrous version of the Pioneer is similar to a 1956 Kodiak, which is very narrow and close to the hand.

The arrow shelf on this bow is only about the width of an arrow with no extra!!!

And the sight window is cut about a 1/4" from center, so it will require a weaker spined arrow than a typical center cut, or past center cut recurve.

These are features that appealed to Fred Bear, but they might not to you if you're not used to shooting this type of set up.

Just please keep that in mind if you're considering purchasing this version of the Pioneer. 😉

A double shelf Pioneer!!! 👀

Just roughed out a test mule for the ambidextrous version.

Feels like 1956 all over again! 😉

Almost ready for action!

A new Pioneer with a red elm core under clear glass.

I made a lot of bows back in the 90's and early 2000's that way.

It was a popular trend back then, and it still makes a sharp looking bow! 😉
