Three more days wins today at Sandy Hook Speedway in Maryland on the road race bikes. We were tired after racing Flat Track in Illinois Thursday and Friday, but stoked to get more seat time on the bikes. It was also a new layout that I never raced before, so that was fun. Thanks to Captain Kent for bringing my bikes to the track today! 🦈🇺🇸

Dad drove home all day today from Illinois so I could get back on my road race bikes tomorrow in Maryland 😅💪

Two more wins in the 65cc and Mini Open classes last night in Springfield. Really fun to watch Cruise throw that bike around and showcase his ability on a technical track like that.

It was a huge ask of him to line up in the 85cc classes this weekend on his 9th birthday. We’ve had very little time on the bike and he was racing a handful of kids who are already riding 250cc bikes. He took a huge step forward yesterday. He qualified P2 in Youth Premier and finished second in the heat race with 11 kids. He got the holeshot and lead a lap in the main, but he had a few big “moments” that ultimately set him back to finish P5. He also finished 5th in the 85cc class.

It would have been easy to sit him out this weekend on the bigger bike knowing he hasn’t raced flat track all summer, but we’ve never been afraid to fail short term for long term benefit. He has big goals and this was an important weekend of growth for him mentally for the future. He definitely hates losing races. 🦈🇺🇸

Springfield Short Track has always been my least favorite track, so what better place to debut on the 85cc on my 9th birthday after not racing flat track all summer! We did win a race, although it was an LCQ 😂
Couple P8 finishes. Just couldn’t get comfortable on the bigger bike, but I showed a few flashes of speed on it throughout the day.

I did manage to win both the 65cc and Mini Open classes, so we had a few solid results there.

Back at it today on the Springfield TT!

It’s been about two months since I’ve raced Flat Track, and what better way to get back at it than my first official 85cc race tomorrow — on my 9th birthday! 🥳🏁

We weren’t able to prepare quite as much as we would’ve liked for this weekend, so we’re coming in with zero expectations. Just hoping to mix it up with the big dogs and have some fun! 🦈🇺🇸

Three more wins last night at United Mini Moto in Baltimore, Maryland on three different motorcycles. Road Racing at night for the first time was a new experience.

I want to give a shout out to my friend and training partner Mia Greimel for getting her first podium of the year. Meems has been riding with me all year getting faster and faster, and finished with a hard fought P3!

Now we gear up for some Flat Track next weekend in Springfield, Illinois with Cory Texter Promotions 💪🇺🇸

Back at it! First night road race tonight with United Mini Moto in Baltimore, Maryland. I’ll be riding Stock 50, Stock 110 and Youth Open.
