Big week of baseball in Panama City! Congratulations to the following players on their placements in the PCB World Series skills competitions:
-Mason Hanley 3rd in 40yd dash
-Wyatt Hicks and Landon Losito 3rd in homerun derby
-Landon Losito 1st in Golden Arm competition

Lots of fun and hard work this weekend provided the boys with a true feeling of accomplishment!

Landon L’s Clutch Hitting Propels Ocala Heat 7U To Victory Over Forest Hills Blue Jays 7U - Brewster

Landon L drove in four runs on three hits to lead Ocala Heat 7U past Forest Hills Blue Jays 7U - Brewster 11-10 on Sunday. Landon hit an inside the park home run in the first inning, scoring two runs, and tripled in the fourth inning, scoring two.

Both offenses were strong at the plate as Ocala Heat 7U collected 17 hits and Forest Hills Blue Jays 7U - Brewster 20 in the high-scoring affair.

Forest Hills Blue Jays 7U - Brewster got on the board in the top of the first inning after Josiah M tripled, scoring two runs, and Greyson N doubled, scoring one run.

Ocala Heat 7U tied the game in the bottom of the first thanks to an inside the park home run by Landon, and a double by Camden R.

In the top of the second, Forest Hills Blue Jays 7U - Brewster broke up the tie when Thompson C singled, scoring one run. Then a double by Greyson P followed to extend the lead to 5-3.

Forest Hills Blue Jays 7U - Brewster added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Jackson Y grounded into a fielder's choice, and Jack D singled to right field, each scoring one run.

Ocala Heat 7U tied the game in the bottom of the third thanks to a single by Tucker M, a double by Camden, and a ground out by Mason H.

Ocala Heat 7U captured the lead, 11-7, in the bottom of the fourth when Emmett C singled, scoring one run, Copeland C grounded out, scoring one run, and Landon tripled, scoring two runs.

Taylor H started on the bump for Ocala Heat 7U. The hurler allowed 20 hits and 10 runs over six innings, striking out none and walking none. Giancarlo S started the game for Forest Hills Blue Jays 7U - Brewster. The righty surrendered 17 hits and 11 runs over five innings, striking out none and walking one.

Ocala Heat 7U collected 17 hits in the game. Landon and Camden each collected three hits for Ocala Heat 7U. Mason G, Taylor, Samuel H, and Weldon M each collected multiple hits for Ocala Heat 7U. Ocala Heat 7U were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Landon had the most chances in the field with 10.

Forest Hills Blue Jays 7U - Brewster tallied 20 hits in the game. Greyson, Giancarlo, and Greyson each collected three hits for Forest Hills Blue Jays 7U - Brewster. Jack, Thompson, and Josiah each drove in two runs for Forest Hills Blue Jays 7U - Brewster. Tripp G and Burke B each collected multiple hits for Forest Hills Blue Jays 7U - Brewster. Forest Hills Blue Jays 7U - Brewster turned one double play in the game. Forest Hills Blue Jays 7U - Brewster were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Greyson had the most chances in the field with five.
