Love seeing what the guys get up to at Trekin Outdoors! Great season so far!

Missing days like these a little, having a young family means the days like this are a little fewer at the moment.

I’m also starting to plan out the year for hunts, and thinking even further out into the future.

I can’t wait to get the young feller out to show him all the parts of nature that keep me inspired.

What was most important to you in sharing the outdoors with your youngens?

If you’re eyeing a controlled spring bear hunt in Oregon or Idaho, you’ve got about a week left before the application deadlines hit. The paperwork is the easy part. The real work starts the second you draw that tag.

While you're waiting on draw results, start looking at your recovery system. When you're five miles deep in the Frank Church or the Cascades, you'll want more than just a frame pack to get that rug back to the truck.
