Babes of the Basin Roller Derby

As we approach the one-year mark of our first boot camp, I’ve made the decision to officially end our practices and sunset this chapter of the league.
Building this community has been an amazing journey, but balancing a full-time career and a toddler while running a nonprofit solo has taught me that it’s time to prioritize a season of rest. To honor the spirit of empowerment we’ve shared, I’m so proud to share that we’re donating our remaining league funds to the Crisis Center of West Texas. 💖

It’s not the end forever! Maybe in a few years, the stars will align to bring an adult roller derby league back to the Permian Basin when the timing is better for everyone. But for now, I’m looking forward to being a fan of the sport and a friend to all the amazing women I’ve met on this track. Thank you for being part of our story! 🛼✨
