On behalf of KQ Sports, thank you to all of our coaches, players, and parents for making this weekend's tournament a great success. We truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and grace as we worked through the challenges posed by the significant rainfall leading up to the event.

Our goal was to provide the best possible experience for everyone while keeping the fields playable and safe. Thanks to the cooperation and flexibility of our baseball community, we were able to enjoy a fantastic weekend of competition and create lasting memories for our athletes.

We are grateful for your support, sportsmanship, and dedication to youth baseball. Thank you for being part of a great weekend, and we look forward to seeing you at the ballpark again soon!

🏆 9U CHAMPIONS! 🏆

What a weekend for these boys at the KQ Sports Cedar River Bash!

Pool play started late Saturday in some of the hottest temperatures we’ve seen this year, and the team was immediately tested with back-to-back games. They opened the tournament with a 23-8 win before coming up just short in game two, 20-15, earning the #3 seed heading into bracket play.

That set up an 8:00 a.m. rematch Sunday morning against the same team that handed them their only loss of the weekend. The boys answered in a big way, rolling to a 17-5 victory to punch their ticket to the championship game.

With no break and another back-to-back game ahead of them, they dug deep, battled through the heat, stayed focused, and left everything on the field. Their hard work paid off as they brought home the championship with a 17-10 win! 🏆

This weekend was about more than the scores. It was about resilience, toughness, teamwork, and refusing to quit when things got hard. These boys showed tremendous heart all weekend long, and we’re incredibly proud of the way they competed for each other.

Congratulations to our 9U Jr. Wahawks on an unforgettable championship weekend! 🥇⚾️
