Good morning, Dawgs players, family, and friends.

We have some very heartbreaking news to share. Tanner's mom has passed away.

During this incredibly difficult time, we ask that everyone keep Tanner and his family in your thoughts and prayers. If you're able, please reach out to Tanner, check in on him, and let him know he's not alone. Your love and support will mean more than words can express.

We've also opened our Venmo for anyone who would like to make a donation to help Tanner's family with meals, funeral expenses, and other unexpected costs. Our hope is to ease some of the financial burden so they can focus on being together and grieving without the added stress.

Thank you to everyone for your kindness, generosity, and support. Please hold your loved ones a little closer today, and continue to keep Tanner and his family in your hearts and prayers

The Dawgs wrapped up their fall season today, finishing with a 1-1 record. Their initial game was a hard-fought victory, while the second game was impacted by a single disappointing inning. I am impressed by the tenacity our team showed today. With winter workouts and other sports on the horizon for some of the Dawgs, I predict that the 2026 season will be outstanding, as the team continues to mature and coalesce.

The Dawgs faced a challenging 0-2 day, but I remain optimistic due to the notable effort and perseverance displayed. During Game 1, despite being understaffed with eight players, we demonstrated resilience in leveling the score 3-3 until the final inning. Game 2 proved to be a fiercely contested matchup, with a robust first inning that hinted at a potential blowout, but ultimately, the opposing team's sturdy defense stifled our progress. As we approach next week's tournament, we'll clash with the Prospects at 8:30, and I'm confident that our team's determination will yield a stronger performance.
