He had his right leg done a few years ago. Just another bump in the road.

Mazuma up for 2nd again last Friday. Unfortunately he cracked his splint bones in his left leg. Surgery is scheduled for tomorrow. He should be back soon 🤞🏼

First race back from a few ailments and he ran great.

Update on Mazuma
07/25/2025
Mazuma is off to Flyover Farm - Jamie Jennings, Certified Monty Roberts Instructor for some rehab/strengthening. He has intermittent upward patella fixation (IUPF). Its not classified as an “injury” and he is NOT in pain, he just needs to strengthen the muscles around it and rest. Jamie has all the knowledge and tools required to get him back to the track plus she is a dear friend of ours so we know he is in good hands.
Our Davina runs this afternoon at Lone Star Park, in the Wasted Tears Stakes. Post time is 6:15. She will be going 1 & 1/16 miles on the grass with Francisco Arrieta in the irons.
Mazuma races this afternoon at Lone Star Park, in race 8 at 4:51. Floyd Wethey is back in the irons with allowance optional claiming company going a mile on the main track.
Our Davina runs tonight in the Jack Bishop stakes at Prairie Meadows Casino, Racetrack & Hotel.
Post time is 8:15 and she will be going a mile and a 1/16th with Alfredo Triana Jr. in the irons.
