To everyone who may just being starting your fitness journey and also to those that have been at it for awhile and feel like your not seeing the progress you want....DON’T. GIVE. UP!

Progress, weight loss, muscle gain all takes time and the only way to get to your goals faster is by staying consistent.
-Keep showing up to the gym, ESPECIALLY when you don’t feel like it.
-Eat healthy...most of the time. Don’t completely deprive yourself of all foods you love, but the majority of the food you eat should be healthy and targeted towards your goals.
-Take progress pics often. This will show your progress much better than obsessing over the scale.
-Get enough sleep. This is EXTREMELY important for both weight loss and muscle gain.
-Drink enough water. Another very important part of being healthy! I use my which is a half gallon that I fill up twice a day! This helps me with my water intake tremendously.

-Lastly, have patience with yourself. I promise if you do the things above, the progress WILL come!

I’M BACK!!!

Man it felt so good to get back to my normal schedule today. I hadn’t worked out or stepped foot in the gym for 9 DAYS!!

Working out is much more to me than my physique. It does SO much for me mentally and emotionally too. Accomplishing a tough workout, watching my clients fight and push through their workouts, being inspired by other trainers and members at OAC...it’s addicting and so FULFILLING!

I feel extremely blessed to work at the best gym in OKC. To feel excited and at home in a gym is something I have been wanting/needing for so long. I have found that and more at . I know you will love it here just as much as I do!

I am so excited to have a workout partner again! I’ve been working out solo for 3 years now. Before that I had always had a workout partner at least 50% of the time.

Working out with reminded me how much having a partner pushes you and keeps you going. It’s also nice to have some girl time with one of my best friends!

There is so many exciting things coming for 2020 and I’m really looking forward to it! GOALS are key to progress! 🔑

I know I talk about goal setting all the time, but guys it’s SO important. Not only is it important when it comes to fitness, but in all other aspects of life as well!

Why are having goals so important?
✖️MOTIVATION
-Having goals help keep you motivated! Once you have your goals written down in depth, you can focus on exactly what you need to do to reach them!
✖️PURPOSE
-Goals can give you a sense of purpose! By taking the time to really think about what you want to achieve in life, you also discover your purpose. This gives you a reason to get up in the morning, to do things you wouldn’t usually do, and to live your life to the fullest!
✖️TRACKING PROGRESS
-Setting a big goal then setting small goals that will get your there is the perfect way to track progress! If you just say “hey I want to lose 50 lbs”, but don’t make a plan, that goal is going to be much harder to achieve and likely take much longer than one would hope. By setting small goals and crossing them off one by one, you feel a sense of accomplishment and will be motivated to keep going.

I set goals for every aspect of my life from fitness, family, marriage, finances, business...you name it! I start with a big goal and break it down from there! Since I have been doing this, I have been SO much happier, productive, and excited! I have also changed a lot and grown for the better!

If your not setting goals, I encourage you to START TODAY! Focus on them, celebrate when you hit a small goal, and enjoy the process. I promise it will change your life!

Reverse Diet Update!

Happy Tuesday! I hope if your in Oklahoma you had the chance to enjoy the BEAUTIFUL weather today!! I seriously wish it could be like this everyday!

So, here is the update on my reverse diet. I’m 4 weeks in and I’m feeling amazing. I have a lot more energy because I’m eating more and doing cardio less! Hallelujah for that!🤣
I’m also only up a couple lbs which is exactly where I wanted to be at this point!

During my cut, I lost some strength because my workouts didn’t focus on that and I was doing SO MUCH cardio. These past few weeks I have been working on getting my strength up and if feels great to be lifting heavy again!

I’m still doing a few cardio sessions a week, lifting 5-6 days a week, and slowly increasing my calories.

I’m excited to see the progress I make in the coming months!

I had brunch with a group of my girlfriends yesterday ! I had to snap a pic when I went to the bathroom and saw the “You Look Beautiful” written on the wall! It’s hard to feel bad about yourself or pick yourself apart in the mirror when your reading that.

This made me think that we all should have a sign on our bathroom mirror that says something positive! With social media today, the filters, the apps that can literally make you look however you want, and the pressure this is putting on women to look a certain way, we all could use a little more positivity in our lives regarding our looks!

I want to encourage each of you ladies to get a sticky note, use some lipstick, or a dry erase marker and write something positive about yourself on your mirror!

Take a picture, post it, and tag me so I can see all you ladies giving some much deserved love to yourselves! 💙
