“We lost for a reason and that was to reset this program.”
Patty Gasso had some really interesting things to say about where OU Softball stands right now, during an interview last week on The Plank Show.
She admitted that everything wasn’t good last season. She thought there were some disruptions here and there, but eventually realized it was bigger than she knew. And looking back, Patty believes the way last season ended may have been exactly what the program needed.
“The way we ended is probably the best thing that could have happened to reset this program.”
There was plenty more from Patty, too.
She talked about the players who are starting to become more vocal leaders. She had some REALLY encouraging things to say about Audrey Lowry. She loves what she’s seeing from the young pitchers — and even said this pitching staff is going to be “salty.”
