After seeing some of the current scores from the boys side of Beat the Heat, this is what I’ve gathered… 👀

NWO, Real Lions OKC, Brazil FC, and others.
These were some of the teams winning everything when these kids were 8, 9 and 10. They recruited heavily. They talked about how much better their environment was while talking down on others and they told families and continue to tell them that this is where their kids needs to be.

But was it really? 🤔
Because some of those same teams are getting smoked now by players they used to dominate. So I have to ask…
Were those coaches developing players, or just collecting the best ones and winning while they were young?

Eventually, the game exposes everything. Coaches who actually don’t know how to coach, people that never played past high school or only played Sunday league thinking they know what they are doing. The ones that think they know it all without having any true experience. Trophies tell you who won at 9. Player development tells you who you became at a later age.
