Been a minute since a real post.
Training for bigger adventures means learning to enjoy the process.
30-ish pounds on my back, a few miles on my feet, and some time in the hammock under the trees.
I picked up this hammock setup before my Alaska trip and it’s become one of my favorite ways to slow down after a hike.
Progress isn’t always dramatic. Sometimes it’s just adding a little more weight, going a little farther, and appreciating the view.

Fuel for the miles. Hydration matters. Thank you for the variety pack! Citrus was my favorite.

Fixing problems one step at a time.
Dug this out, got it draining right, after getting some miles in.
Nothing crazy. Just stacking small wins right now.
